Advantages of a commissioned biography or business history:

Haven't you wished you knew more about your parents, grandparents, or other relatives? What were their joys, struggles, successes?

Family members will appreciate reading and learning about your experiences--your life lessons--as well as what you remember of relatives from previous generations. Janice Petterchak will work with you to chronicle a life story that will be treasured for years to come.

The story can be written from personal and telephone interviews with you and others you designate, along with background research to place the information in context of the times. An alternative method is for you to dictate or write your own autobiography or business history, and Ms. Petterchak will edit the information, with suggestions for revisions or additional material to complete the story.

The completed typescript then can be simply bound, with photographs of your choosing,  or, if you prefer, a printer can produce a professional publication.

Working with Janice Petterchak, you will have a lasting gift for family and associates, and perhaps for the local history collection of your public library.

Read these excerpts from letters of recent clients, then consider your own life story:

"I have had a number of calls praising the content and makeup of the book. All are
to your credit for an excellent production. Working with you has been personally gratifying and the many friends you interviewed have been high in their praise for
your approach."

"The Trustees of the . . . Foundation were very pleased to receive the . . . biography that you prepared. Some of the facts mentioned in the biography were an eye-opener
as well as very informative to most of them."

"I just wanted to say thank you for the biography of my parents. It's everything I
hoped it would be!"

"Thanks so much for what you are doing. I gave the last chapters to my son who is writing some publicity about me. He LOVED it."

"Thanks for all your work. It was fun."
